Surprise Collaboration

Chatting with friends on Skype is good. It would be better if I had a dohickey to plug into one of these USB ports with a microphone. Or microphone and camera. Old laptop is, well, old. I bought it used, after all, and it lacks modern conveniences like the above. Also lacks a working fan, so I now have to perch it on top of a loaned notebook cooler! But happily I have good friends who care about my sanity, and have such a handy gadget to loan out.
So, last night my friend talked and I typed, far into my night.
Anyway, the conversation led to a surprise collaboration. So, today, after sleeping in to compensate for the late night, instead of packing immediately to head to Chicago (the mural painting having previously been delayed until tomorrow because niece and nephews were in favor of going to Six Flags and riding roller coasters and the like), I read the partial first draft of the story we brainstormed last night, and turned it into a less partial second draft. Hopefully, she won't hate the changes!
Now I've got to pack the car and skeedaddle, 'cause tomorrow, we borrow the Great Aunt's ladder and paint some more.
Tonight, likely, we'll play magic. If I get there before Dragon falls asleep, anyway.
Oh, and who stole all the warm air?
