Also, I have a new poem up on the Torn World website. It's called When The Starflowers Bloom and is available for Torn World Supporters to read.  (You can become a supporter for as little as $5, and most of that is credits you can assign in $1 increments to support your favorite writers and artists.)

I'm even more excited about tomorrow's Muse Fusion event. I'm looking forward to hearing your prompts, creating 1st drafts of new Torn World content from them, and seeing what [livejournal.com profile] ellenmillion  and [livejournal.com profile] ysabetwordsmith  and [livejournal.com profile] haunted_blood  and [livejournal.com profile] hawkwolf  (and perhaps other Torn World contributors) will do with them too.

My plan is:  If I use your prompt, I'll share the initial draft with you privately.  I plan to share a preview of one work (in initial draft form) in my journal for free, which I will submit to the Torn World Canon Board to be openly viewable by everyone once it's edited and approved as canon.  The rest will be submitted to the Canon Board for Supporters Only, unless someone sponsors it.  If it's sponsored, I'll share a preview here as well as submitting it to the Canon Board earmarked for everyone to see.

If you sponsor me for this project, you can specify a work to support (in whole or in part) or let it got to a general fund.  If people make general donations toward the project, I'll follow [livejournal.com profile] ysabetwordsmith 's example with her poetry, and poll you as to what to apply them to.

Although I know that some people are willing to write non-canon work (crossovers, for instance) during this event, it is currently my intent to stick to things that I think will be accepted as canon, to build the world for future readers and contributors.  Though sometimes the Muse hijacks my attention.

Oh--and I've a new Torn World donation button, so I can be certain funds intended to sponsor Torn World work are applied properly.  It's a little tongue-in-cheek.  I hope you like it!

I hope I'll see you in the morning (or the afternoon, or the evening...)!!!
