Interesting. Over here it calls itself romanesco cauliflower. One vegetable that actually looks as if it was invented by M C Escher...

Ah, I have only seen Romanesco ONCE in the wild, and that was in a gourmet grocery in Great Barrington, Mass.

It's gorgeous, isn't it? Does it taste like a milder broccoli?
