[livejournal.com profile] pics  now has hardcopies of the anthology Family Ties and Torn Skies. Advance perks are going away this weekend. Reviewer perks will still be available. Let her know if you would like to review our book. Request an e-copy here: http://www.tornworld.net/familyties.php and let her know where the review will appear.  Your blog, Amazon, and Smashwords, for instance.

We're about halfway to providing comp copies for contributors, so your support is welcome.

If you see me at Duckon this weekend, please feel free to ask to see  a copy.  I have some to sell, but so long as I have even one left, I'll be glad to let you look at it!

The roses are starting to bloom!  This little bush was almost hidden by the garage and the lilac.  It seems pleased to be getting more sun.

The silver lining for our long, cold spring is that this year the best weekend for the roses will NOT be during Duckon.

If I have internet at the con, there's more pictures of roses to share--and maybe even pictures of Duckon.

In front, we have irises!

Thank you

The iris stalks are all limp this year, except for the miniatures. I guess the weather hasn't been right for them. But the purple got caught on the rosebush next to it, keeping them off the grass, and the picture did turn out well!
