The username is a result of me misspelling Esme (as in Esmerelda Weatherwax) the very first time I used it, back in the day of bulletin boards. Imagine my shock when my misspelling (Eseme) was taken as a Yahoo ID! And now that it's been used in Twilight... well I've lost it most new places.

With the given name "Deirdre" I try not to misspell others' names...a goal that is not helped by the fact that I find remembering names and faces almost as challenging as remembering numbers.
