MG Ellington ([livejournal.com profile] xjenavivex ) also blogs over at Science in My Fiction, and in honor of Valentines Day today's post discusses Love and Brains. In conjunction with that, she has published my pantoum, Love is vital to brain development in her blog: JV's Journal.

I hope you'll go check them both out!

In related news, I did a reading at Capricon including two Torn World poems and one story, and got a good reception for all of them.  (I was nervous about the poetry, having really no basis to predict if the audience would be poetry-friendly.)

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

Curious kittens want to know which pieces you picked to read!

Also, it's a very cool poem. I hadn't run into that form before -- it's very limiting, and you made it flow very well. Is that the first place it was published?

BTW I have tried that form before. It is very hard. You know I am a freestyle girl myself. I really loved your poem. Again, thank you for allowing me to print it. I think you started something.

Thanks for promoting the article for me. I hope you liked it.

For the record, the last reading you gave me was amazing. I am grateful. I am not at all surprised by your reception.

Happy Belated Valentine's Day
