The sidewalks were (and some still are) piled with snow higher than my knees. Shoveling is slow. But I did get to the car, and it's not as buried as many cars still are out there.
What's the weather like where you are?
This is the view out of one of my kitchen windows this morning:
Snow had somehow blown in between the (very old) storm and the regular window. Something to seal better once it's warmer!
The "chilly" is leftover from being outside--the new heater continues to work well!

Date: 2011-02-06 01:55 am (UTC)I finally broke down and hired someone to shovel for us; I'm too sick and the snow was too much for My Angel to do alone.

Date: 2011-02-03 02:42 am (UTC)Unseasonably warm! I'm a little jealous of everyone else's winter weather. Even tho' I'm ready for spring, I know it's only teasing, and we've still got months of cold and dark still,

Date: 2011-02-03 09:16 am (UTC)Our weather has been hot and humid. I don't mind hot, it's the airless humidity that saps me. It's days like today I'm glad I work in an office. It's been grey, I think we're getting some backwash from the huge cyclone that's hit Australia. We are hugely lucky it hasn't hit us, although between the huge major storm last week and this cyclone the tomato and now banana crops (possibly up to 90% of Australia's banana crops destroyed) means food is going to be more pricey this year.
