Viruses Not Needed!

My Angel and I had a great time at the con. It was a magical experience, and I had fun reliving it here in my journal. But I didn't get any writing done at the con, and not much the first few days of the week. About mid-week, I started to get focused again for writing, but...
My Angel got sick right after the con. Thinking back to how cold and tired she was at the con, I doubt it was con crud, but either way, she's been pretty much in bed all week and miserable, with no voice, surviving on claritin, mucinex, and asthma medicine. And the furnace stopped working again; after a cold night it turned out to be a simple part replacement. But sick loves and cold don't help with writing. And I've been exhausted all week, with the beginnings of runny nose/headache/sore throat. I got home yesterday after having dinner with my kid looking at baby & toddler pictures so she could pick one for her yearbook, and fell asleep on the couch.
Come on, world--getting sick is NOT in the plan! I have to do a LOT of writing to catch up with NaNoWriMo!
Think good thoughts for me, please!
P.S. I'm not getting a lot of comments on my NaNoWriMo chapters. The comments help keep me inspired--and the best comments make me think, and are helping to make the finished story better. Even the "hey, look a typo" comments are appreciated. If you want a sneak preview of Clockwork Dragon, all you have to do is agree to comment.

Date: 2010-11-20 09:36 pm (UTC)And don't let yourself get sick. After two cons in two weekends, I'm kind of amazed I didn't come down with con crud.
