A quick Duckon memory:

There were, by this time, very few other people still playing along, and they were not in the frame.  And my attention was on Amy, so apologies to those I missed.  You all deserve a share of the glory.  (Dang--I tried to put in Amy's LJ name and got a defunct community.)

There was lots of other good music too, and even some dancing.

It was impressive.

And there was no long exposure. That was taken with my cell phone.

I was keeping up with the chord changes, though not playing as cleanly as Gray. That was really fast. Just strumming consistently and reasonably synchronized to the beat was hard. I can't imagine actually fingering the individual notes at that speed.

(Amy is [livejournal.com profile] sweetmusic_27 btw)

I do have Amy friended here, but it was too late, last night, to open a new window and search out her proper link.

It was wonderfully fast. On a good day, I could have kept up with autoharp, on a song I know. But if I was playing melody, there's no way I could have done as many reps as she did at that speed. Of course, the violin is built to make melody easier on the body than autoharp is...I've fiddled around with playing violin enough to have a feel for how it would feel to play it if I ever got good at it. Of course, I've never actually gotten good at it (at least in part due to never having owned a violin).

And Sunday was not good that way for me, I don't have that song memorized (or a cheat-sheet handy) and the autoharp was packed away. So I had to be content with enjoying as a listener.

And enjoy I did!

I'm so glad you like it.

(I left the _27 off your LJ name, not having all your names memorized properly yet.)
