Torn World -- The Pearly Towers

torn_world community. This was one of my entries to the periodic contests, and won in the writing category for the Landmarks of Torn World contest (reportedly making the judge say, "Ewwww! Neat!")
I'm also pleased with my painting of the towers.

And in other news, Oh! You should see all our roses! I may post pictures later.
And my kid was sent a t-shirt from a prestigious university just for sending them her SAT scores! Too bad there's no "Proud Mom" mood icon. I spent too much time on the phone bragging to my sister and Mom about that, once I got home and found it in the mail.
