So, I was peacefully watching NCIS, and got a phone call from someone I didn't know. Cell phones are wonderful, that way, it's so easy to preview who's calling. I was tempted to ignore it, but you don't do that while looking for a job.

And I'm glad I didn't.

It was one of the ladies on the board of the Coffeehouse, calling to tell me I'd made it to the final round of their talent competition. So, on February 20th I'll be performing again, for a new panel of judges. This time I have three songs/15 minutes.

I thanked the nice lady and go over toward Twitter, thinking I'll brag there.

But my plans were interrupted--top tweet in my list is notification that I should look at this blog post, I wouldn't say I'm Prolific, where I'm given a Prolific Blogger Award because Becky, the writer, "loves Fireborn".

Wow! I'm honored.

I have to nominate some other bloggers in turn, but I want some time to think about which ones.

I think, as a thank-you, to Becky and all my readers, I should try to get the next chapter of Fireborn ready to post early. Naturally, though I have a chapter ready, it's not the next one!
