Sorry to hear about your frustrations. I understand the loss of your writing. I lost my first Blurb book and had to redo it all. I'm lucky in that I didn't have any plot or characters to develop so I can't imagine the headache of trying to do it all again. :(
Glad to hear the Halloween party helped bring some peace. I haven't touched my guitar in at least a year. Part of it is shyness, I don't play well (really, I don't) and part is that it's connected to my past. I'm only now getting through some of those thoughts/feelings and am thinking I'll be able to pick it up and give it a go again soon.
