I have. But I'm not very good at remembering which market I read a story in, and haven't read all of the magazines in Duotrope.
What I was hoping for was that one of my beta-readers would say "this would be a good home for that story". The editor might not agree, of course, but I still think that would more likely lead to a sale than trying to guess from just their submission guidelines.
Thanks for the suggestion, though. Duotrope is great, very user-accessible, even better than Ralan. (-: And as much as I know, the thing one never is fully aware of is where the holes in one's knowledge are. So I'd rather get some duplication of knowledge than miss out on something that useful!
