The image is a woman/elephant, in a green robe. Both of her faces are lovely. Above her is a five pointed star, receding into the universe much like the opening words in Star Wars. In front of her is a glowing book, and she is drawing power or insight directly from the pages--or perhaps casting her knowledge into those pages. It's hard to tell, her hand is obscured in the glow. She has a pentacle earring and a white witch's streak in her brown hair. Small triskels swirl in the light around her.
Green could be a symbol that she is a healer, or could be more generally just a symbol of the natural world. Elephants are such a social animal, such a powerful image of the importance of caring for each other and of the importance of remembering things, too. And books--books are how we share knowledge and dreams, how we get perspective on our problems, or brief escape, or learn how to deal with them. I also see this card as symbolizing knowledge as the light in the darkness or the star to guide us, but it's not impersonal, it's very personal, and powerful.
