The coffeehouse contest was fun

and I got lots of compliments, one man telling me if I was going to perform at the coffeehouse again he wanted to bring his friends, and the sound gal asking for my number to give to the guy who does bookings. The seven other acts included (in my opinion) one group that was good and everybody else was excellent. I was really surprised to find the only act that I'd have rated merely "good" won first place! So, the judges had some different opinions, musically, than I did.

I got home from that to find that I did win the Torn World assimilated culture contest. I'll provide a link when it goes online; it's currently being discussed by the canon board.
