The Glanconer shows up in a whirlwind of glitter. He's quite attractive, so tempting that it's hard to see him clearly. He might as well be saying, "Come on, rush into things!"
It's hard to see a thing clearly when we desperately want it. The Glanconer warns about rushing into things without thinking things through, reading the fine print, and checking it out.
However, as I went to put the cards back into the box after drawing the Glanconer, Indi popped out quite decisively. Indi is smaller, almost timid, and moves the bauble he is holding from hand to hand as if he's not sure where to put it or what to do with it. Indi's purpose in life is to warn about the dangers of spending your life undecided, of not committing to a path and giving whatever it is a fair chance to manifest in your life.
The two of them glare at each other, and then start bickering gently, like the lead character in a TV show and his comic-relief side-kick.
