I can't choose!
I is for Imagination, which brightens my days whether I'm working on a new story, reading someone else's work, painting or singing or dancing, or even "merely" daydreaming.
I is for Internet, which has allowed me to connect with readers and writers and collaborators. Without the internet, there would be no Torn World, I'd have never spoken to RJ Astruc, much less collaborated with her, I'd have missed out on so many wonderful things, from WrenStarling's Bird Oracle to sympathy when I needed it at 3 a.m.
I is for Idiots, who provide stress and frustration in my mundane life, but who can also provide Inspiration for antagonists, whether they would be called villains or merely "challenges" for my protagonists.
I is for Indie Publishing, the chance to share more things than the few big name publishers are selling, whether I'm on the buying or the selling side at the moment. This is very Important, since right now there are fewer and fewer big name publishers, so we need our small presses and the option to self-publish.
I is for Intrepid, which currently is the vehicle that lets me get to and from work, run errands, visit friends and family, and go to conventions. It's not new and shiny any more, but it works, and that matters.
I is for Illusions, for magic that doesn't need to be explained, for wonders that can be experienced and enjoyed without need for proof. Which of course, brings me to
I is for Inspiration, that flash of Insight and excitement that gets the pencil or brush moving or gets my fingers tapping faster and faster, as the story forms on the screen in front of me.
