wyld_dandelyon: A cat-wizard happily writing, by Tod (a wizard writing)
Second Update: I am now CLOSED to new requests (except from people who answered my poll about which day I should hold the draw). I'll finish drawing cards tomorrow. Also, I understand that Dragon Oak will be sponsored soon. Thank you, X.

First Update: I spent most of the day running anti-virus and anti-malware software on this which is currently my only internet-able computer. I think it's better now and will attempt to catch up on readings now. My apologies to everyone for the delay.

I meant to post this yesterday, to honor the desires of the people who voted in my poll, but was just too tired. But I'm better today, and the weekend is coming.  Next week, after job hunting, I'm going to focus on writing, submitting, and related tasks, since I'll be back on unemployment.

So--readings. Of course, the usual disclaimers apply -- a card reading can't substitute for professional advice. If you need a doctor or lawyer or financial planner, etc., that's not me. If I can provide some entertainment, or help you get in touch with your own higher power(s) or inner muse(s), on the other hand, I'm glad to be of service.  If you haven't visited before, I have a few more words about readings here.

Decks:

I'm going to offer Torn World readings again. You can have a reading from the Kuleilyi Divination Disks, much as Rai-Kunabei might give if you were to get a reading from her.  An unexpected bonus--the Torn World Canon Board approved Kunabei's second story this week!  I've linked to the first Rai-Kunabei story, Dance to Fend Off the Sky in earlier readings; this is the first time I can link you to her second story, Roots of Insight.

For inspiration, guides, whimsy, and sheer beauty, Brian Froud's Fairies' Oracle.

And finally, the Shapeshifter Tarot, which also has awesome artwork.

Rules: Ask what you want to ask, the way you want to ask (within the limits of polite behavior, anyway). Let me know which deck you'd like me to use. My cards have always been respectful of the creative life; feel free to ask about creative projects, in or out of character.

You can ask for a reading at any time until there's a note at the top of this post indicating it's closed.  Exception--the three people who voted in my poll--if any of you catch this post late, you're welcome to request a reading if you haven't already done so.

Thank you in advance to anyone who tells your friends about the readings.

Tips: No payment is necessary, but this does take time and energy. Any tips will be gratefully appreciated and applied to living costs if needed, or to the "Get a Laptop that doesn't crash when it overheats" fund, which still has a long way to go. Also, if things get busy, I'll do readings for people who tip first.

Tip Incentives: All tippers will get a two or three card draw, depending on the deck you choose and your question.  (If you tip and ask for a guide, I'll draw your guide and then a card to give you insight into the challenge(s) you are facing.)

In addition, if tips reach $100, I'll draw one of the Kuleilyi disks and share it with you--the disk that shows up most often in readings, if there is one. If not, I'll do a poll and let you vote.

If tips reach $200, I'll draw two disks, same rules as above.

If tips reach $300, I'll draw three disks and I will also post the current revised draft of the next story about Rai-Kunabei, called Dragon Oak, here.  I wrote the story during the last Muse Fusion, but it was not sponsored.  I will also make the story visible to the public when it gets published on the Torn World site.
