Where did September go?

It can't be October already. I protest!!!

I had so many things I wanted to accomplish this month, and instead hit one of those periods where time speeds by and I don't feel like I have a lot to show for it. A little writing, but less than half what I'd planned to do. And none of the poetry or art I'd planned, though some I hadn't planned.

And then, today I spent way too much time (all afternoon) dealing with ineffective customer service people. So far, the most helpful person was the guy from the cable company, who advised that if I go buy a long ethernet cord, I could, perhaps, move the transmitter to somewhere closer to places on the second floor that I actually use the laptop.

And in trying to get those things done, I missed #scifichat.

I'm just sayin'--the rest of October had better be better!!!
