The Olympics are Distracting

It's cool watching pretty young men leap about on the ice or fly into the air on the halfpipe. And soon there will be pretty young women leaping on the ice too. My first memory of Olympic ice skating was my mother calling me to watch Peggy Fleming, and I've been hooked ever since.

In writing news, Fireborn has been featured on Hypatia's Horde of Reviews.

My story, Alligator's First Midsummer Dance is up on Torn World, having passed the canon board.  So has my poem, Stillborn Dreams, though it's a bonus for people who subscribe to the site.

Oh, and the landing page for Torn World has been rewritten so it's easier to find both new content and the list of free stories, poetry, and art.  Ellen is planning on more changes, but started with the ones that don't require re-writing the code.

So if you hopped over there before and found it hard to find the free stories and art on the site, feel free to try again.  We're happy to hear feedback; you can leave me comments on LJ or you can leave comments on the forums at tornworld.net, whichever is easier for you.  We're working on making the site reader-friendly, so if you have comments, please let us know!
