So, last night I posted a new chapter of Fireborn, and was all pleased that I'd figured out that the donate button never (or almost never) works if I paste it in the first time, so I just put ***donate button goes here*** and then went back in to edit the button in.  That was ever so much faster!  Then I realized I'd forgotten to put the bulk of the story behind a cut tag, so I did that.  I was all happy until I went back to check things, and found that I had FIVE cut-tags.

What the heck?

I was still fighting the sore throat and headache thing last night, so I left it alone.  Today, I was a good girl and first spent time looking for jobs to apply for online.  More frustrating than usual, as there's hardly anything out there so far this week.  I eventually found some possibilities, the first of which (naturally) wanted me to type out my history on their website.  Ok, boring but necessary.   And time consuming.  And then answer some questions--great, after filling in that part, the page kept giving me a 404 error every time I tried to send it.  Go back and add cover letter to answer questions.  Go to Frustration.  Go directly to Frustration.  Do not pass Go or collect $200 (or any other salary).  Repeat.  Repeat again.  Where's my Get Out Of Frustration Free card?

OK, I'm done with that for today.  Maybe people will post jobs on Monday.

Then--oh, yeah, I have that Unexpected html Mystery to fix in my story still.  Need I say I was not in the best of moods to stare at html? 

But it's done now, so I feel better. 

I think I'll go check my e-mail to see who's commented on the story.  Comments cheer me immensely.
