This is NOT the post I had thought about writing today. Apparently the law firm I've been working at (gee--for almost 10 years) is not doing well, and they let me go. There's some severance pay, and the promise of a recommendation letter from the office manager, but as of now I don't have a job. I guess I start looking tomorrow.
