The final round is up, over here: http://jongibbs.livejournal.com/183547.html You can go vote for my title (Monster Teeth and Art Glass) or any of the others.
I'd welcome the opportunity to talk about my writing, and of course about Torn World since this is a Torn World story, in Jon's journal. I'm not so sure about the "I are a writer" mug, of course (I don't think even a sharpie will "stick" to ceramics like that; it wouldn't be so bad if I could at least copyedit the thing!), but the contest is all in good fun.
I've also enjoyed looking to see which titles authors felt were their best, as well as which titles the voters thought were best. You often hear about how important it is to hook a reader's interest with the first line of the story--well, sometimes they won't get to the first line if they don't like the title, especially for things where people will decide whether to click on a link to even get to where they can see the first line.
I also invite you to comment here about titles. What are your favorites among my titles? Were there any that you hated? Are there titles that lured you into reading a story or book that you otherwise wouldn't have read? What are your all time favorite titles?
