Advice From Pigeons

A while back I was in the Milwaukee Area Writer’s Group. I ended up moving on at a time when I realized that I was spending all of my spare writing time in the group, critiquing other people’s work—and as valuable as it can be to critique other people’s work, it doesn’t substitute for actually writing.

One of my regrets, in leaving the group, was no longer getting to read the fantasy stories of my fellow writer, Patricia S. Bowne. Her eccentric professor, Hiram Rho of the Royal Academy at Osyth, always got into amusing—and dangerous—situations, and his approaches to solving them were unique.

I was glad, at Capricon, to hear that not only has she continued writing, but she now has a book out. It’s called Advice From Pigeons.

Sadly, it’s only available as an e-book, and I don’t have a Kindle. So I'm out of luck.

But I believe some of my friends do have a Kindle, and would enjoy this book!

So, here’s the link so you can go check it out: Advice From Pigeons

You should be able to download the kindle reader to your PC for free, I believe... just a suggestion!

I try to use my computer for writing, not reading! But still, that's tempting. I may look in to that.

Don't suppose there's any chance she'd consider Smashword? I like that better for my ebook buying needs, since I too am Kindle-less, and they offer 'read through your browser' services. :)

I haven't spoken to her in...gosh, way too long! I'm not sure if it's available in any other formats.

If you wander back to this post, another friend comments with a more helpful answer!
